Hmm. A bit of an art sketch dump and it's all robots all the time.

Work in Progress. One the one hand I'm really happy with it, the other I hate it with a burning passion. *sigh*

So, those familiar with my transformers nerdiness knew I had/have a character called Shatterhowl She's gotten a bit of an upgrade, or at least I've recycled the name. My current character is a yet to be fully fleshed out FA/18G Seeker known as Foresight. What makes her different from every other OC Seeker out there is Foresight combines with Northwind (callyfin's Transformer character) and makes a horrible mish-mash of angry robot dubbed Shatterhowl.

Decepticon all the way, baby.

The fun part is Northwind (the canine one) can be launched like a clawed missile of >:EEE death at an Autobot.

The combined form. Size wise, about the same as Optimus. A semi-sized steak-knived mash of jet parts and angry fox robot. Have to do a five step drawing showing them clunking together. :D I've got it boarded out it's kinda awesome.

I met up with triskitty and went window shopping. Which ended with me buying things. :)

speaking of SR-71's there was a 1/72 Franklin Mint in Hobbyco. Tris made me resist the urge to buy it. For now. I told mum and she, predictably egged me on to buy it next pay packet.

I also found possibly the cutest model kit ever. EGG PLANES. LOOK AT HOW FAT AND CUTE THEY ARE. I bought a F-15 (I have to get a F-14 and FA/18 now) and I'm debating what colour scheme to paint it in. Starscream of course, but G1 or Movie?

First one: The USS Alaska (Ohio Class Submarine of the USN) as Movie! Depth Charge. Complete with an orca tattoo. >:3
Second one: A F/A 18 transformer who has a third mode: a robotic dolphin.
Third one: Laserbeak/Buzzsaw. Alt Mode? A 17' Macbook Pro.

My mum bought me chibi -jailtat Starscream. His alt mode is adorkable. The jets head tilts like a tiny sparrow of death. Awww. If my bio-jets were made into a toy, I'd want them to do that.

I also re-drew Ravage (see last post) in a more compositionally friendly pose. The leaping side pose rocks, but I couldn't get it to work with a decent background.

The background is going to be scrap metal and weird metal giant tentacles/ropes. Because I can't do distinct backgrounds and I want a creep factor.

About my username/name. I still go by the nickname "Kimbo" in real life as well as friends online. However, my character (who the journal was named after) no longer exists, as she doesn't really "fit" me anymore.

New iPhone wallpaper. Let's see how many people at work pick up on there it's from! Seeing the Star Trek movie has obiviously re-kindled my burning love for Star Trek.
